Starting with a clear brief from the client to design an extension for one of Moeraki’s early villas in a modern bach style, we have created an airy, open space which is easy to relax in and provides the necessary holiday vibe. Lined in plywood the interior features the original external Oamaru stone chimneys. A galley kitchen and stacker doors maximise the living space and create an easy flow out onto the lawn for holiday living.
Clean lines and a flying eave open up high glazing allowing sunlight to flood into this multi-purpose holiday space.
